WD-9 Engine Fit TD-9 Crawler

Will a WD-9 diesel engine fit a 1948 TD-9 Crawler?
I believe there are some differences to consider. The dozer engines have a two section oil pump for scavenging the front and rear of the pan for hilly operations. I do not believe the wheel tractors have this. Not sure on the WD9 however. I know in the case of the Farmall M and TD6 that this it true. Also, the pan is probably different and possible the flywheel and adapter plate. TD9 has a dipstick, not sure if WD9 has. I do not have parts coverage for WD9 or TD9 so not much help beyond this. Maybe transferring some parts from one to the other would work.
Good luck
