Hi, i want to change oil on my 47 allis wd. Does it use a disposable oil filter?

It is supposed to have a spin on bypass filter mounted at the right side near the rear of the engine. What do you see on it now?
The Allis Chalmers part number for the engine oil filter is 70228915 (WIX 57011, NAPA 7011, Baldwin T-300M, C-159 Fram). Do not lose the tube that sticks up out of the filter base, the filter slides down over.
Do you have a copy of the Operator's Manual? It has service instructions.

I use heavy duty 30 wt in the Farmall . Put something with high (zinc )in it called ZPPD . STP ,diesel oil 30 wt . do your owe study . Read labels , but it is important to for flat tappets that have to use ZPPD additives.

Do you have a copy of the Operator's manual?
I have to ask. It looks like you joined in 2014 and were posting about a WD hand clutch. Is this the same tractor?
