what couplers do you guys use for air hoses and hydraulic connections?

Like the Regular pioneer couplers for most hydraulic connections though I like to be able to couple them under pressure. Since if they set out during season the sun can make the pressure build just enough they will not go together without letting it off. The reason for being able to couple them under pressure. Now air hoses I really like the Schradrer air couplers. I have some I have used with no leaks now for over 20 years. They are nothing like those cheap junk ones you get at most parts houses or harbor freight. Parker and Foster make them and Foster is a good bit cheaper than Parker for them. They can be had in a larger body for larger hoses like 1/2 inch and also in a smaller body for smaller hoses like 1/4-3/8 hose. I have both in use with no leaks. I have been usiing the larger one on a 1/2 inch hose for over 20 years and they still don't leak. Yup a good bit more up front cost but by the time you change out those cheap ones every year or more often they will pay for them selves over time. Just twist them about an 1/8 of a turn to release them and push in till they click to couple. That groove you see behind the taper is the place where they lock at when coupled together. So no balls to wear or wiggle in the connection and never seem to come apart while pulling around to get where you need to unlike those cheap ones that can catch on a corner or something and disconnect to get back together. Good for about 300PSI . No I don't have any vested interest in the company nor paid to promote them just like them and use them with no hissing in the shed while using them unlike all the others I've used. My brother put me onto them from his use of them doing press repair work and not wanting them to come apart on top of a press while working up there.

Any fitting that is HIGH FLOW. I converted all of my air fittings to HIGH Flow (the hole is a lot bigger) and what a difference.

Push-to-connect Pioneer fittings should connect under pressure.

Pioneer for all equipment and the L type for air compressor. Stay with the air fitting as that what we had at home.
