What do I have? 640, 641, or a 841?

Last week I posted my first post about a tractor I inherited. Well the picture I posted is not the one I’m getting. My sister is getting that one. This one is for sure the one I’m getting. My question is, the hood badge say 600 but I found the serial number and it either is 641 or 841. To me it looks like 841. If so that wouldn’t be the correct badge. Correct? What do you guys think? What do I have? Thanks.

That is an 841 trans 841 paint pattern and an 841 grill.
I would say its a 841 with the wrong badge.

Agree with John. It seems to be an 841. Assuming it has a 4 speed transmission, and a single stage clutch? Have often seen the wrong front emblem and/or sheet metal, and/or stickers on a tractor. What really matters is the engine/transmission/rear end S/Ns and casting codes.

Serial number would make it a 1960 model (841)

I got it home today. Here’s the engine casting. Appears to be a 172 so the 841 seems accurate.
