White 2-110 transmission noise

Hello
I have a 2-110 tractor that I haven’t had for very long and while backing up a hill it made loud gear clashing/ grinding noise. Was wondering if anyone had experienced this before I take it apart.
Tractor has about 4xxx hrs on it and shifts fine never popped out of gear or anything even when it did this.
Thanks for any help or input.
