Will a turbo from a 4440 fit on a 4020

Hello allI am in the process of buying a 4020 diesel power shift that is in pieces (it’s all there) and i have an extra turbo charger from a 4440 that i put an engine in. Question is when im putting the tractor back together would this be possible by just changin the intake and exhaust manifolds. I know the 4440 turbo dosent produce much boost and probably wouldn’t hurt the engine or am i just wishful thinking

So just by bolting on I don’t think so I believe the maniflold is 2 piece on most 4440s like mine and fatter I think it will get in the way of the the intake manifold there isn’t a lot of extra room. And where it’s mounted I think hood space would become an issue

I believe what you want is a turbo, manifold, and the elbow off a 4320 and I think an early 4430 might have used the same but by the time it’s a 4440 I don’t think that fits.
Not saying you can’t make it work just won’t likely be throw it on and go.
