Yanmar 2420 D. wheel drive front, end unit mounting

I had a rebuild on the right front end unit on the Yanmar 2420 D. When turning the right tire would grab, and lock up. Following the rebuild I installed the front drive unit, but I still had right wheel locking. I reinstalled using more grease and more pressure, and I still have locking on the right wheel at right hand turns. I used a jack to install but no hammers. Does this process need more force? I have a little gap at the gasket. Thanks in advance.

Your YM2420D is 4WD. So you are working on an arrangement like this YM240-ish diagram.
