yellow G allis

Hello fellows, bob, thanks again for your help!!!

can anyone tell me if the yellow allis chalmers "G" are kind of scarce? i was told these were used by the DNR. is there anything else i should know about these that were different or was it just the color...is 1800.00 for this tractor a fair price with no attachtments. good tin and seems to run ok...

1800 for a running G is a good price. Allis would paint different colors as needed by different groups. Yellow for state jobs or federal was kind of standard. olive for the navy and army was their color. some were just painted by the local town ship or school district after they left the factory.

1800 for a running G with good tin is a great price.. a steal even.. don't matter what color it was..
