Nice JD standards, I have a AR, 730, R and 820 standards. A 70 gas standard isn't all that common. A brother had one at one time, sold it. I considered buying a used 80 way back in 1966, but the JD dealer who had it didn't seem interested in selling it so waited a year or so and found a nice 820. Glad I waited.

I copied this from up above. Can anyone tell me what this high track Oliver was designed for? It seems it was for clearance but clearance for what?

So it's an Ag tractor?, I should of guessed that I suppose... it being among all the farm tractors. It's just that here in my region nobody that I've ever known uses dozers for Ag work. Thanks for the reply.

a little late to the show. Here is my heard, the 44 is the 1st and 5th tractor I bought, 8n is the 2nd, had another 8n which I sold, 77 is the 4th, 44 the 5th and then the 88 I got this last year. The 60 was my dads and my brothers own that one. This was them all lined up for our winter tractor ride.

Great looking machine. I grew up on a 54, same cast wheels as yours. Unfortunately it got fried on my Dad's shed fire, guess I should start watching for one! Thanks for sharing. GG Wes

I believe the hitch is factory. or at least I think it is? It makes plowing a lot easier being able to adjust the plow side to side.
