My friend could buy a mercury m-100 for $6000CAN. Original paint, engine, wheels, etc. 30 000 miles

Do you think it's a good purchase/too expensive?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I've gotta think that there aren't so many left, so... And I see mopars, chevys, fords, and a whole lot of cars going for 80 and 100 thousand now that cost less than 5,000 new.

A guy on the tractor forum a couple of years ago paid 17,000 for a deere 3020. Beauty's in the eyes of the beholder, and that's who's paying for it. What do you think? Enjoy the decision, either way.

If it's solid and running it should be worth it. If it's not, or been sitting a long time then ??
