Im sure this has been asked before but I cant find a definite answer. Im ready to paint my H so I went to my local CaseIH dealer and got some primer, red paint, thinner and hardener. They are all Irongard brand minus the hardener which is valspar but that's all the dealer had. I asked one of the guys there that has painted with it and he said he uses 3oz of hardener and 4oz of thinner per 1 quart of paint. Was wondering if that sounds accurate? Both the primer and paint say to use 8 parts paint to 1 part thinner. However the paint doesnt say anything about the hardener. Just wondering what ratios you guys have used to get good results. Thanks in advance.
