I have always enjoyed looking at and watching mounted corn pickers. I have the short nose JD. Have been wanting the long nose 3010 picker for a while. Last week I found one on ebay that was not listed as a long nose. I won the auction $84 plus 7.75 for shipping. It came today and is just as nice as the pictures showed. I know it's missing the piece on the elevator. I happen to have it in my parts box. These pickers seldom go for less than $120. I think I did real good watching and waiting.

Now I need to find a decent 3010.

That's a nice piece. And a good price. I know what the long nose was for, but I don't remember ever seeing one.

A good buy on a nice picker. Two weeks ago at a consignment sale I bought a repaint 3010 and 2 repaint 3020's for $35 each. Bought a bunch of nice true scale toys as well. Tom
