Yesterday, I checked out last winters purchase, Case 930..940 Gasoline Engine froze in edge of pond.. BEAVER caused lake..

Installed new Spark plugs, Engine Oil / Filter, Fuel Filter, Starter, removed all cracked Fuel lines, greased all zirk fittings, ran hot wire to Coil and Fuel Pump, removed grill Air Cleaner service, cleaned contacts in Distributor cap.
Engine fired up and sounded great. Ran engine until engine temp gauge registered 160 F . Oil gauge registered 55 psi.
Tightened up clamps on Rad hoses..
The CARB on my 930 / 940 does not have an Electric Solenoid....??
Would someone know if this Solenoid has been deleted over the life of this Tractor...? or never had such a device..??

Bob..

I'm guessing the carb never had one to begin with on that age tractor.

Our '66 930 CK gas 8 spd uses one. I've never really cared for them even on our 6 cyl gas IH tractors.
