You should post this as an ad on the Hauling Schedule found on the YT Homepage.

While your at it make sure they have cargo and liability insurance. If they don't and there becomes an issue like the tractor came off the trailer during an accident you may be on the hook for the repair if his insurance does not cover it or his may just cancel him and not cover you period. this would also apply to if it hit an over pass or any other bad thing. It will not cover if the tire is bad and goes flat while in transit. |

I screwed up on calling Showroom transport to haul my Ford 800 and 7 implements from VA to IL. I didnt have a confirmed date but it would be within a couple weeks. I was told to call when I had the date and set the price at $2100.
I was asked for my credit card info to accept the price with half due at pickup and half at delivery. When I had the date I left 3 phone messages with no response and tried to call the main number but was disconnected upon connecting to scheduling. Ty was the persons that I gave my credit card to and left message to return my calls.
I contacted my credit card and discovered I was charged $1,150.00. DO NOT GIVE CREDIT CARD IN ADVANCE!
I ran out of time so called Nationwide Transport and they responded with short notice and cost $400.00 less. It was handled professionally. I recommend giving them a call. |

Unless it is a COD deal never ever give $ ahead of the haul. I never got cash in advance and never expected it. I was a motor carrier for 15 years that way. IF they demand $ up front even any portion run don't walk. Some brokers will do a check in advance of the haul if they have no experience or credit does not check out good. I did pick up many COD's while doing this for brokers. I hauled a good bit of equipment for Valley over those years with few to no problems. If there was it was usually dimensions of the equipment which was a few times. |

And the load does not come off the trailer until the bill is paid. |
