I would appreciate information on replacing the steering stop pin on late model B Roll-O-Matic pedestal.

What issue are you having, how to remove the old pin, perhaps?

Looks like the pin is broken as iy does not reach the steering sector. Are they pressed in?

It looks like it is broken as it doesn't reach the sector teeth. I have what I think is a new one but don't know how to install. Thank you for the reply.

I'm not sure how hard the dowel pin is, I wonder, could a person drill and tap a hole in it, then pull it out with a slide hammer with a matching ''stud'' attached to it?

I suggest cross-posting this down lower on the Forum page, in the John Deere-specific Forum, likely someone there will have better info than I!

Yes. The old partial pin needs removing and to install the new one.
