There was a red flag right from the get go here, you just didn't see it.

Nobody sells a tractor with apparently bad rims, and retains a set of good rims that they will then otherwise liquidate. Who would do that?? And further more, who would buy a tractor with bad rims, go and pick it up, leaving the good rims there (if they knew the good rims were also there). A deal would of been made for the rims also, if either party would of known about the extra rims.

Story didn't add up.

What if the buyer already had a set of good rims ??
And so bought tractor at a discount due to not taking the good rims too?
