I want to change my wide front on my 830 Comfort King. Any real issues? The front castings appear to be the same as does the 4 bolt pedestal mount. Thanks. Larry

All the same, just Tae off the wide and bolt on the narrow. The bolts that hold the narrow front are a different length than the wide front steering, so you will need new bolts. They are fine thread and need to be grade 8. Be careful on the length because if they are too long they will take out the seal in the steering gear, don't ask how I know.

Narrow front requires 5 5/8 x 3 3/4 bolts with lock washers and 1 5/8x3 1/2 w/lockwasher in front hole. Torque 150 to 165 ft pounds. Steering gear support ring installed with bevel up. Wide front remove steering gear support ring and use 6 5/8x2 1/4 bolts. Bolt length is critical, as Jon indicated. Above information is direct from Owners Manual.
