Hello, I have a 1970 Gleaner K with the hydraulic reel lift cylinders.

No matter what I do I cannot keep the thing from fluid leaking out the left side (double acting) cylinder. I fear the cylinder and nut itself is worn beyond repair. new seal kits will not hold. the slave /right cylinder works perfectly and dry as a bone.

Any ideas?

I cant seem to find a replacement, and the price of cylinders these days... I may just convert to manual adjustment at this point.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

There's lots of old Gleaners around the country. One of the salvage yards will have a cylinder. That master cylinder has to be
matched to the slave cylinder, so not just any cylinder will work.
