I took my '36 John Deere A up to Antique Acres in Cedar Falls for my first pull of the year (spent more time than I planned replacing transmission bearings). Went pretty well, 2nd out of 8 in 4,000 and 6th out of 15 in 4,500. For stock bore and stroke, I'll take it. My 7 month old was napping in the stroller under a tree along side the track and slept through both my hooks. However, when Big Tee and Old Abe came roaring down the track in the open class nap time was OVER! Good show and well attended pull. Other than the heat, fun was had by all.

He found out what is like to pull on a good SD track a couple weeks ago. Big G got him every time. I told him I was going to rub it in whenever I got the chance.

That sled must really make the rounds. I've seen and hooked to it clear down in SE corner of Iowa. Glad the Big G is still on top. On a side note: The bull gears I got from Brian worked out great.
