This may be better suited to the other AC form.

There is a photo of the AC MFG Co safety shoe store
care here.

http://ingenweb.org/inlaporte/lpcityphotos.htm

Im reasonably sure thats a surplus Pullman troop
sleeper. What Im wondering, is was it kept pullman
green? Im thinking the lettering is a lighter color,
perhaps white.

I know AC also donated a old Pullman troop sleeper to
the Illinois railroad museum that the museum says was
used for the same purpose-employee safety shoe
store. So perhaps the one in Laport is the same one,
or Allis purchased more than one. So the museum
might be another place check for info.

Reason Im asking, is Id like to make a model of it. I
purchased an N scale Pullman troop sleeper. Decals if
white will be a challenge but thats part of the fun.

I know AC had a fleet of rail equipment-locomotives,
heavy special duty freight cars, and at least one
private car.

Sorry, post looks incomplete for those using classic.

Basically wondering what color this was.
