I am currently redoing an Oliver 1655 that had a cracked bell housing. Once we got everything pulled apart we noticed the input splines on the input for the over/under, as well as the clutch had wear on them. I was curiuos if anyone else has seen anything like this or if anyone had a reccomendation on replacing the shaft or leaving well enough alone? I was planning on installing a new clutch and bearings already. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Unless it's ready to strip out completely, I'd leave it alone. It's taken fifty years to get this way, how many more years are you expecting to get?
