I have a book for the Eagle Hitch tractors that says to check Case o Matic fluid with engine running. Would this be the same on this Draft O Matic tractor? The manual I have is for an older tractor I have determined. Thanks for any help - Bob

I'm no expert, but I believe the case-o-matic system is essentially the same as an automatic transmission in a car/truck, i.e., the clutch is a torque converter rather than a dry clutch. So it makes sense to check the fluid level with the engine running.

Does your draft-o-matic have a dry clutch or the case-o-matic torque converter system? I'm not sure if any of the draft-o-matic tractors also had the case-o-matic torque converter clutch.

The tractor is case a matic. I assume it is checked with the engine running the same as the older ones. Thanks
