I found this 1070 last winter. It is suppose to be a 2 owner tractor. I bet it was super nice before owner #2 got it, as the factory pto shaft sheild is still in the tool box. I am going to put 38's on it, but it couldn't have been pulled to hard in life with 34's. I need to fix the pto, door frame and tie rod ends but the rest is very minor. The dealer I got it from said it was to many $ for them to fix. If anyone is interested I am going to fix it and sell it. I would be interested in trades (whole-partial?) 70 series and newer, in need of repair OK.

Now thats what I like to see. Every one of those we can save is one more we get to service or purchase in the future. That one looks like it has some potential and the 1070's are a good fit for a lot of jobs. Well done. Rod.

Dad bought a new 970 when the 70 series came out. then in 74 he bought a 1070 brand new! 1070 had a lot sharper cackle than the 970. Son has a nice 77 1070 and it too has quite the racket from the muffler!!
