Well the beans finaly dried down and this afternoon (late) I desided to try them. Spent the last few days going over the combine good and put the big crop dividers on because of all the downed beans. They work good with the 9 20 inch rows, It is tight but I tried it but 8 works better. Never got out of 1 gear though, Beans are 12.3 and the first 4 acres made 46 bu an acre and this is an 7 acre field that is the worst of the beans this year. Lots of green stocks and some butter beans and realy dusty but not bad for 2 1/2 hrs of cutting and changing the setting and rechecking them. Tomorrow should be a good day to run 22 acres and haul them off then wait for more to be ready to cut. Field is pretty clean EXCEPT for some green morning glories I didnt know were there. Bandit

Good looking beans, ours are remarkably running in the low to mid 40's so far. Amazing with the weather they had to contend with this year.

He is sitting in the truck in the one pic. He road with me the hole time I was cutting and helped me with the checking of settins. He could not belive how good theses beans are with as dry as it was this year. I guess I will have to get his K out of the barn and turn him loose with it. You know how dads are, You cant tell them no! Bandit

Dont wear it out in beans!I cant wait to see it with the 8 row head in the corn.Great looking beans,I am glad you have something worth wile to combine as it makes all the years hassle worth it.There is nothing like sitting it the seat of a old combine that has dust coming in the cab with lots of levers to pull and listening to the elevators going chug chug chug putting the grain in the tank that you worked so hard and prayed for all year--Does it get any better?

Personally I like the dust outside the cab my self but would like to have an older one than we have to play with once in a while.

I agree with the dust outside of the cab, I don't get choked up like I used too. But there is nothing like watching that bin fill up.
