Greetings ! Iam trying to identify my Case crop row tractor. There is two tiny holes in the instrement panel where the ID plate used to be .
There are various part numbers - but they all start with VT , it has a overhead valve 4cyl. motor. The previous owner says he thought it was made in the 1940's. It's hard to order parts, so could you help me ? thanks !

This will be a VA series tractor. If it has 28 inch or 32 inch rear tires it is a VAC. Can be a narrow front. With 24 inch rear tires and wide non adjustable front it will likely be a VA or VAI tractor..... Gene

The VT casting nrs make it VA series. To ID the model in the series, you will need to post more info or check in "Tractor Photos" under GALLERIES on the left side of this page.

Engine serial nrs are in chronological sequence, with some overlap, and can be used to approximate a range of build years assuming the engine is original.

The engine serial nr is stamped into the block above the starter, early tractors stamped hornizontal just under the cylinder head gasket, later tractors stamped vertical on the milled pad just above the starter.
