...all you fellas in the Midwest are lucky to have so many combines to choose from, and at some great prices. I just looked at a running Gleaner F here in SC that was priced at $3000.00! I saw a pair of Fs located in Kansas, in excellent shape, for $1000.00 OBO. In terms of numbers I'd say down here in SC, it would be John Deere, International, Massey Ferguson and last, my favorite, the old Gleaners...

Gleaner, I have seen in that area many of the 4425 and 4435 combines. Both of which I own or have owned.
Despite the negativity surrounding them they are a good machine with some tweaks from Ray Steuclke.
The cab is in the middle engine behind the grain tank and most are reasonably priced. I stole my 4435 with 700 hrs, hydro and rear wheel assist. It was less than ten years old and just over 20G. Probably half that by now. Tom
