I have on old 8N on my farm that I'd like to get running. I've
changed the spark plugs, and now I want to drain out all of the old
gas. How do you do that?
Thanks

First off disconect the fuel line to the carb, then use a hose or something like that so you can catch the gas, open up the shut off all the way. That will get most of it out but not all of it. You have to remove the sediment bowl assembly to get it all out and even then you may have a little left in it depending on how its sitting

Actually, you probably can"t. The OEM sediment bowl had a 1 gallon reserve accessable by opening the knob all the way. But, because most folks never used the reserve, it usually clogged up. So, open the knob all the way nothing happens & you usually have a gallon left in the tank. About the only way you can get it all out is remove the sediment bowl.
