Does anyone know the first bale throwers offerd by New Holland ? I had a 268 that we had a 54A thrower installed many years after the initial purchase. We now have a 316 with a 70 hydraulic belt thrower. So I guess, the question is, whether there was a predcessor to the 54A thrower ??
Also, does anyone know the years that a pan kicker similar to Deere's was offered by NH ?
Thanks in advance.

According to "Practical Service TipsFor Rectangular Balers" published by New Holland, and the New Holland parts website, the engine driven model 50 for the 67, S67,68, S68, 270 and 271 balers was the first thrower introduced in 1959. The model 53, 53A 53AE, or 53AL would have been installed on a new 268. The 75 pan kicker was sold with 310, 315, and 320 balers after Feb 1989 as well as all 311, 316 and 326 model balers. The 77 pan kicker was offered for 565, 570, and 575 balers until about 1997 or 1998

Thanks Rick. As a kid,we grew up with primarily International balers in this area so I had no knowledge of earlier NH equipment.
