Thanks Jim, I appreciate the info.You have helped me make up my mind. As far as the posting goes, learning that too.had already typed it so tried to cut and paste. I'll get it together soon I hope. So many questions so little time. I have read the posts and archives about 6 versus 12. It doesn't really matter to me. I am not wanting to restore orignal or fix to show or sell,just start it and use it.Fixing what I have to as I go. With two or three buddies prone to use it, the simpler I can make it the better.I believe I would like to take it to 12 volt with electronic ignition for simplicity especially since it's current unknown configuration. I only have one shot at it money wise so am wrestling the options.Given my level of expertise that is the way I am leaning now. I was hoping some one will say ok, this is what you need, here is where you can get it. I could get it done then. When I start browsing parts it starts to get confusing or has been up to this time.Any opinions or recomendations about doing this would certainly help.
