RTI rear hub question

Working on my RTI with Lull loader and this is the rear hub. This would be very awkward for duals and the wheels/tires would have to be very narrow, did they do this to make the track wider and more stable for the loader and add weight or was it totally different. Tractor just had the standard about 8 inche rims when I got it.

I believe your correct sms it look's like it was done to widen the track and make the tractor more stable, as well as adding weight.
