I have a set of 32's hat rims, centers, with matching tires. Rims are good ,might need a little weld around valve hard to tell with tires on them.
Question is what would be a fair price?
thanks joe

Couple of years back I had a set. Good tires, good rims, only needed clean and paint. I think I got $500 for mine. I'm in MS

IMO it's too hard to give you a fair market value on them with the tires on. It's likely that if the valve hole is in need of repair than the inside might be a lot worse. I had a set in very good condition for sale this passed year. Was asking $500 for them along with a very good firestone tire. Couldn't even get a response to the ad. Ran ad in a few different places. Wound up keeping them. Bought one new firestone and used them on one of my '39's

Yeah, like Kirk said, it doesn't matter what the outside look like all that much; it is the inside that really matters. If Calcium Chloride was ever used for ballast in the tires, chances are real good the insides of rims are pretty rotted out. If you can get tires and tubes removed, take some pictures and post, we will be better able to answer your questions. If all are good, I would be interested in them so my email is included here and put me on your list as a potential a customer.
