When I ran a chainsaw shop in the early 1970's I sold these Roof mowers. They were a very good machine and had very well built mowers. The biggest problem I had was with the wholesaler. He could never deliver the new mowers to sell nor half of the repair parts that were ordered from him. I liked the mower with the loop handlebars because if you came to a rock or something all you had to do was press down on the handlebars and it raised the mower up and you drove over it the let the bars up to resume cutting. They also made a mower that looked like a miniature jeep. I could never get one of the even when I ordered it each time I sent in a request for new stuff. |

I have a mower made by Roof Co. It is a self propelled walk behind model. It also has a sulky to ride on. It mows about 21 inches.Well built machine. |
