so this is my first message. I
bought a Massey Ferguson 135
Monday a week ago and the tractor
runs well, however the three
point only operates with the
draft lever and will only raise
all the way or lower all the way.
once it fully raise the pump
still tries to continue to raise.
Upon teardown I realized both the
PTO gears have badly damaged
teeth. My question are where can
I get the gears and does anyone
have any Ideas on the three point
operation failure?

Go here http://www.agcopartsbooks.com/PartsBooksN/login.aspx?region=NorthAmerica view books as guest user, next page enter the model number, and select Massey Ferguson from the drop down menu, and you are there.

If you want shop manual http://www.agcopubs.com/ for MF shop manuals.

Sounds like they abused the tractor, and or didn't adjust things, or fix it properly.

Would agree. Possibly continual 'crashing'
of the PTO due to a badly adjusted PTO
clutch.
