New batteries came in the mail today. I cut the wires off of the old ones and soldered them to the new. Buttoned it back up and it runs. I put it on charge for the night. I may be able to get rid of these whiskers in the morning. lol
The toughest part was holding the wires still while the solder cooled. Sure wish I had the eyeballs of my youth for this small work!
Thanks to Guido and the rest that replied to my earlier post asking questions. My shaver lives on because of you guys.

Here you go ruining everything..
Since your razor was broke. Me and the boys voted for you to play St. Nick at this years Tool Talk Christmas party. Four months growth would have been good..
You did a good on the repair.. Those 1000mAh batteries will nearly double your run time. |

Almost sounds as if you will be able to shave your back with that
extra run time😊. I would wareout a couple of shick five blades if I
tryed that. I know...getting silly. |

If you find something tougher than lady leg hairs on a mans razor let me know. They can dull the blades on a Shick quicker than anything then when you try to use it's like shaving with a butter knife. |

Hello Eric in Il,
Looks good to me. Just charge the batteries overnight. Do not leave the charger on 24/7. Charge them only when they are totally dead, and they will last for a long time,
Guido. |

Nice work. I have a Norelco very similar to that one and the batteries are starting to show weakness. I have been starting to think about the replacement process and you have shown how to do it. Thank you.
Have been using rechargeable shavers for years and have replaced batteries a number of times but each one is different.
Thanks again. |
