Does anybody know the front wheel tread width of a 428 by chance?

I think the outside dimensions are 9'2" and the inside dimensions are 6'4". If critical I could go measure my combine to confirm. Mine has the knobby tread. Need to find replacements for it because it sat flat for many years before I bought and spoiled the rubber.

Can you measure yours? Also can the tires be reversed on it? I would really appreciate it. I've located one but the hauling part is the only thing keeping me from going to get it. I'm trying to see if you a regular gooseneck trailer will work or if I would have to borrow a swather trailer. Thanks

Confirmed the dimensions I gave you were correct. If you reversed the front tires I think you would add about 10" to the tread width. Operator ladder might need removed but that would be easy to do. Plan on the combine sitting 11' tall.
My combine has a aftermarket cab on it. If you find a combine which has the original handrail and platform details let me know. I would be interested.

Thanks. I was hoping to reverse the tires to narrow it up but sounds like that won?t work. This combine does not have a cab and appears to have the railing. I might not even end up with this combine. I have to pay the guy in person and haul it home. And until I get time to go look at it someone else might snap it up.

Put mine on a 102" gooseneck, about 5 inches of drive tire hanging off each side. all original, railing etc.
