According to JB & JBA parts catalog 18'' notched disk were available.

I got my info from the parts section of an orig. op manual dated 1951 and it shows no notched/cut-out discs avail. maybe your book is a later edition and maybe they did finally offer them later on.

Back at that time NOBODY made a notched blade.

Thanks for correction. Only info that I have access to pertaining to these disk harrows is the online parts catalog. I'm aware that the newer parts catalogs have over the yrs been updated compared to the originals.

Thanks for correcting my mistake. Do you know what year notched disks were introduced? I own a KBA that has notched disk that I think are original disks.

I have no idea but in catalogs from the 50's they were not in there.
