What oil does the transmission take?
I have searched everywhere and no
luck. I even called the old Dresser
dealer and he could not help
me.Thanks in advance.

I think a lot of those ran ATF.

Here is a photo of the filter info from a Wix master catalog that may help you.

ATF , check level at an idle in neutral.

Where I used to work we bought a new one cant think of the # but it was the same series but the biggest they made then it always ran ATF in the trans, for a filter check with a Dresser dealer as they bought the industrial line from ih

IH/Hough construction machinery became part of Dresser Ind. in 1982. Then Dresser joint ventured with Komatsu and the Komatsu dealers became the dealer. Could be a source for info but it has been quit a while ago now. Then became Dressta and now something else.
H90E's were a good machine.
