Hi Folks
First I like to wish everyone a happy, healthy and prosperous 2019.

I am restoring a 1962 MF 35.
On my search for parts I scored a reduction gearbox
part number 909651M1 (it is stamped on the side of the box.)

I have placed behind the gearbox and the final drive.
The problem is that when I switch from normal ratio to reduction it is actually shifting to neutral.

Is there anyone in this forum who knows a thing or 2 about these reduction gearboxes.
I have looked at it over and over again and it only can be assembled in one way.. (well , thats what I think.

Any advise is welcomed

Welcome to the forums Heine! and a happy new year to you too! I can't help you with that reduction box, but I bet that if you post this down on the Massey Harris, Massey Ferguson forum you will get responses.
