Son in law and daughter delivered my 860 Ford this past Sunday morning! Laughing

Time for the 8N's to move over!

Not yet, it's icy out there and I still ain't moving too good. Had a knee replacement right at Thanksgiving. Maybe this weekend.

This is the one that Ultradog posted the link to day or 2 before Christmas. Craigslist thing. I texted the guy Christmas eve and called on the 26th. Explained about the knee and still got the doc telling me no driving for another week or 2. Told I wanted it and that it would take a few days to get everything lined up. Then we had about 15" of snow. Anyway was a great guy to work with. Daughter and son in law wanted to get away overnight and he figured that they could go get it, spend the night in Duluth. So I gave em the money for fuel meals and a mother. Grand total I've got about 1600 in that tractor.

Pictures or it didnt happen Smile
An 860 has nearly the hp of two Ns though
I don't think it will outwork both of
yours. Are either of your Ns side mounts?
Aren't the distributers the same from 1950
all the way to 1964? Someone here will
know.
If so you could swap your EI into the 860.
Does the seller still have the 2N.
That was a bargain too.
Anyway, congrats!
The next best thing to getting another
tractor yourself is seeing a friend get
one.

Sounds like a good deal. Have to ask why you would give them money for a mother? Did they need a chaperone?
