Here are some progress pictures. New cab corners, cowl panels and floors. The portion of the floor below the seat was in good shape but the rest of the floors are new.

It is definitely a lot of work, but I am sure it is something to be proud of. Personally, I do not value spending money on replacing something, that I can repair.

x2 on the skill comment. People who have never done this don’t realize how much time and talent it takes to align the cab properly before the panels are welded into place. Keep up the good work.

While you are in there have you figured out gas tank and battery location and seat type? Or maybe cowl
vents side vent and steering column ? Gonna be a fun truck for sure.

I did a lot of that two years ago. I was doing continuous butt welds and it is difficult to keep the metal from distorting especially at corners, even when cooling and doing just a tiny dot at a time.
