Feeling tired would be normal. Anything that disrupts your sleep (like a new and powerful pain) will decrease the amount of actual rest your body and mind get.

Hang in there!

Hang in there. After my trip to the Doc yesterday, my crud is beginning to break up and my nose is running like Niagra Falls. At least junk is moving again. Did not sleep much last night, but my cough is much better.
Will keep you in my prayers. Get you a nap on the couch with your SC pillow.
One of your Southern friends, Richard

Wow, that?s what happens when I miss ready posts for a day. Big news and I?m in the dark. Hope you feel better soon, being laid up is the worst when in pain. I took a lot of naps after back surgery, they just snuck up on me. Take care.

Sweets you are in the worst of it right now. Day 3-4 is when the body is really beginning to dig into the healing process. In a few days you will be able to be more active.

Yeah, that's normal. Take your time and follow your doctor's recommendations. Bring in help when you need it. For the next few weeks or a month it could be real easy to re-injure it and have to start all over.

In August I fell and got a hairline fracture on the elbow end of my radius bone. It was only in a sling for two weeks and took about six weeks to stop hurting, but it seemed like an eternity. Doctor recommended Tylenol (acetaminophen) instead of ibuprofen for faster healing. Now five months later it is getting back to normal, about what the doctor predicted.
