Had all of the preliminary stuff done yesterday for the surgery. Now they have her scheduled for 2pm surgery instead of 7 am. She will check on that sometime after 3pm today to double check the time. Her ekg was considered a bit off, but they didn't have her old ones to compare it to, so she had to go the our GP this morning for another one. Doc says it is normal for her compared to her others on record. Got the final lowdown a about what meds to discontinue before surgery. Some she will be able to discontinue permanently. The Upstate University complex reminds me of one giant beehive. Dozens and dozens of people scurrying in all directions constantly. Thanks for all of the thoughts from all of you.

Oh yeah. I HATE cities with a purple passion! Gives me the hives just thinking about the place.

Hoping things go well, Don--be thinking of her, and yes, you're right--while I'm glad places like that exist, I sure do not like having to deal with being in or around them!

She will continue to be in my prayers, and agree with you, and will pray you can get out of the cities soon
