Well it has been a few years the last time I was up there. Can remember when all of that stuff was being built. Early 60s. They had one of the largest hydraulic trac excavation units on the eastcoast digging the trench for the water pipes. Goes from the Delaware up to spruce and then transfer to round valley. Supposed to be the water supply for Newark, NJ and that area up there.

The local wildlife refuge stirs the water to keep it thawed for the darn things. To bad the taste so darn bad.

Hmmm!

Round Valley Regulations

#8- Stay back 50' from Scuba Divers.

#6- Swimming . . . Prohibited.

UH, isn't Scuba Diving - "Swimming" ?!?!?

OH, and Thank You Larry for naming your Dog after ME, although I'm not sure if I should take that as a compliment or not. I may have to get another dog (haven't had one in quite a while) and name him "Larry". LOL !

Walter must have some bird dog in him. The one pic where Walter is in the rocks it looks like he is pointing!! You might have to get him out in the fields to see if he could point a pheasant or in the woods searching for the elusive ruffed grouse.
No idea where you are but its mighty pretty.
