This morning the forecast was.... 100% chance of snow, heavy at times and 5" to 7" accumulation. Well it tracked further north, and now they say a chance of light freezing drizzle, and 70% chance of snow, accumulations of up to 1".
I have seen enough snow storms in my 73 years to keep from going off the deep end when the guessers spread their hype. After all, it is winter in NW Iowa. |

They have been hyping this storm for a week. So far nothing here in west Michigan but a few flurries. My barometer is more accurate than these weather people..... |

It was supposed to start snowing at three in Northern Illinois today, instead it started at ten and was over at two, nothing since but the TV weather babe says we're still going to get buried. Got about a 1/2 inch so far. |

Had about two inches and still snowing at midnight in N. Ill. Then the wind starting blowing, was supposed to be 35-40 mph and I believe it. This morning was 8 degrees/ still blowing/ drive ways bare some places and about 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 foot deep in others. |
