First, thank you for a great, informative, and fun site. I did a
search of entire site for ford f600. Got a long list. Links to
tractor talk or restoration work fine. However links to classic
trucks come up as an error. Also, are classic trucks and
yesterdays trucks the same? Thanks in advance. Tom

Yesterdaystruck.com is a completely separate site of ours and there is another name for it, but I don't recall what it is, it's not classictrucks or classictruck to my recollection. Yesterdaystruck.com is the only name advertised now. Mostly it's only available by going directly to that domain or to the forums for it through modern and classic menus. There is a truck only search if you go to the main page of yesterdaystruck.com and click on Archives, there is a keyword search there.

As far as broken links, maybe you could email me an example to support@yesterdaystractors.com and I'll research it.

Thank you. I sent an email with a copy of search results
page. Links to tractor talk forum work bot not to classic
truck/yesterdays truck forum. I get an error message. Not a
secure link

Oh, that is a completely different issue. They work fine, your browser is just configured to block http links. Certain browser manufacturers chose to make their default configuration to block http sites, giving the responsibility to the user to decide if he or she wants to go to http sites by changing the settings. When you are at an http site, the network connection is unencrypted meaning your ISP and the government can capture what pages you visit and the content you view or type. It has nothing to do with the security of the server or your computer, it is the network connection.

Yesterdaystruck and Tractorshed don't have certificates so they run http, or unencrypted network connections, Yesterdaystractors has a certificate so it runs https, or encrypted network connections. We may move the photo ads to yesterdaystractors and the truck forum for that reason because people who don't understand the ramifications will not be able to get to them, and they are downgraded in the search engine so people can't find them either. But right now, yesterdaystractors and those other sites are completely separate as a result of the secure cutover. With your configuration, you won't be able to view those sites.

I didn't understand your question originally about whether they are part of yesterdaystractors. They have the same ownership but they are completely separate domains. Network encryption is done on a domain by domain basis.
