purchased a 1971 diesel 580CK which I knew the engine was seized, now that I have the engine out and will rebuild or put another one in is there any way I can tell if the torque or the shuttle shift have a problem? I have no knowledge on its history. the re and trans I will clean up but so far see nothing bad there,

If you are looking for information on the
power shuttle on the 580ck, I would
search heavy equipment forums (see link
below). I searched for information on my
580ck forklift and there is a lot of it
on there. Also, remember that the ck and
b models are going to be different from
the newer models.
