Friend of mine bought a 420 new, cab htr worked fine for a number of years but then it got to where it would only heat up to 165 degrees on the gauge, and of course at this temp you get almost no heat from the heater, they changed the thermostat last year, ZERO change in heating,, his case dealer has no clue whats wrong,, I have instructed them to use a infrared heat gun and report back to me where it shows heat and where it does not,, I was hoping someone here may have run into this and can save a few steps to find the problem,, thanks for any help,
cnt

I do not think so as the old one reached the same exact temp as the new one, same temp on the gauge summer or winter he has a flow issue some where I would guess its by-passing I was hoping someone here had ran into it, he is 500 miles from me or I would go and find the issue myself, had the max temp changed after he installed the new one I would say a bad one, but no change tells me this is not the problem thanks for the comment though
