I have a yellow 970 not as pretty as Jareds' by a long shot. It has the same seat suspension as his. I was looking at the case parts list and it gives a serial 8675001 break with your (Loren)style seat previous and what Jared and I have as post this serial. That and a buck will buy you some coffee somewhere.
RG I await your seat modifications as my bearings are shot at the rear lower I have replaced them once. My source is now gone.

Tom and I discussed the seat change after I made my post. I was thinking that seat came with the color
change, however further discussion showed that later seat in desert sunset tractors that had other changes
like the hood and small round muffler a front axle change, and cab filter change that took place in the 72-
73 years.

I wish we had a photo gallery section for the Case/David Brown tractors. That way, we could see different variations of this. I second guess many things now lol.
