That?s a good idea can you adjust your top link enough to compensate for the extra length

Yes the top link has plenty of adjustment. I drilled more holes in the back part of the hook to allow the hook to be adjusted higher or lower. Then used clevis pins so no tools are needed. The hole in the upper part of the hook allows for a lynch pin . This will keep the swivel part from possibly jumping off.I also ground off the sharp edges of the hook so the swivel would not hang up.

Looks good for a temporary 'fix',not something I'd want to use on a permanent basis. I think I'd 'manufacture' something to replace the top hook.Something like an inverted'L',with a slotted hole for the implement top link pin.I wish I could draw you a picture. Sad

I think it will last a long time with category one equipment that swivel Is probably designed for a lot more weight than the tractor can lift

Great idea thanks for sharing. Gonna go see if I have swivel large enough in the barn to use on mine.
