Hello. First post. My david brown 1200 keeps breaking the ear pins that connect inside on the clitch where the pedal linkage comes in contact with clutch inside the tractor. I have searched but can not find them. Made some of hardened steel and they have broken after 25 hours of use. Getting tired of tearing it apart.

having a hard time figuring out what you are breaking. I can't think of anything inside there I would call "ear pins".

Laycock clutch(one big flat spring), or Borg and Beck (a dozen or so smaller springs)?

Years ago I had the same problem on a 1210.
Had the clutch rebuilt and happened again
twice. 3rd time we took the rebuilt clutch
apart and found KC Clutch did not replace
the pins, and there was so much slop the
ears were hitting the bell housing and
breaking the ears.
